In case it’s not totally clear, the framed photos are the shadowbox that I made with Charlie’s input. The frame is antiqued barn wood, and it has a two inch deep sealed wooden shadow frame. The glass is painted from the inside to harmonize with the weathered edges of the photos and handmade paper in the backing. The photos are mounted on raw nails to avoid adhesives which lower the archival stability of the piece.

Well I’ve been busy, mostly designing albums but also shooting weddings and commercial assignments. So no blogging for Neil - my website is about to undergo major re-construction and I just don’t have time for a lot of web posting as I’m working on perfecting my work instead of promoting it. Hopefully my past clients will promote it for me. I had been wanting to see the Richard Serrra exhibit and there’s never enough time to connect with my NYC clients so I was able to stop by the exhibit and connect with Erin and Josh at the same time. Their story was a fun one to watch unfold as well as listen to….
