Familiar emotions

Noni.  It just doesn’t get any cuter than Noni.

Noni is the beloved Grandmother, and I LOVE grandparents.  After the above shot I took one more of her laughing.  She was apologizing for noticing me, because she knew I was a “photojournalist.”  She was trying to act natural for me, way too cute!

And to end the family emotions part of the story, every father’s dream.  The moment before the longest walk of his life!

I love how close people let me get to them at such a time.  It really is an honor.  They were trying so hard not to cry, and it was expressed through big big smiles!  It is so precious.

Story Time.

After all the packing, loading and unpacking that goes with moving, I am positively thrilled to be back to telling stories.  All these memories and stories have been sitting on the back burner of my mind for so long!  Thank goodness they did not burn to a crisp!  Well, at least, I hope not . . .

Seth & Rachel are two precious souls, I will always remember their sweet spirits.  I think you will see what I mean . . .

Story time starts at the salon, as it does for many brides!

And it continues with good friends!

The result?  Well, stunning!

More story time tomorrow!

Matt & Dani; a sensitive story

Matt & Dani have such an amazing story to tell, I was so honored to document their wedding. They met with each other before the ceremony, and the time was filled with such respect mingled with passion, it was beautiful and overwhelming to observe.

Moments before the ceremony, one of my favorite images from the day.  Matt’s best man, his father and two pastors pray with Matt.

Portrait of a dear friend

Well, I try not to talk about it too much, but I am moving soon. Terri is one of the people I try not to talk to about it, we have been good friends for about 3 years now. Which I think is incredibly cool, because I am about the same age as her kids! We don’t really think about age when we hang out though.

So because I am going to miss her so much I told her I wanted to photograph her family. She obliged me, which was so sweet of her :)

This is Terri with her amazing husband Mike!
