We have transferred servers but the shopping cart has not been transferred and so I am waiting on support from the software vendor. I had hoped to launch a whole new set of sites today, but alas - its not going to happen. SO I apologize that the shopping cart isn’t available - when the new sites launch we will have the promotion.

Eric, Carrie and Zack at the birthday party.
Longtime faithful blog readers & site watchers may remember the wedding of Carrie & Eric - October 23, 2004 - Geneva Presbyterian Church and Belhurst Castle Seneca Lake, NY. Well what a difference two years makes! Carrie gave me a call a few weeks ago asking me to photograph their son’s first birthday party, and I said ‘what fun that will be’.
And it was heartwarming on such a cold day!
A cute black and white portrait.
An activity vignette in black and white.
Zack and mom in Black and White.
As is often the case on our first time through, when we’re in need of a nap - small bright lights mesmerize us. Carrie is laughing as Zack isn’t quite sure what to do with the candle.
If you want to look through the whole party, they’re in the shopping cart right now.
After the party activities were finished a setup a quick studio and did a couple portraits to finish up the afternoon.
It was really fun seeing this family grow and develop, I’m glad to have contributed to documenting it.
So, how many of you alumni brides and grooms have had kid(s) - leave us a comment and tell us about your family.
We’re taking the week off in South Carolina visiting family for the holidays and personal vacation. Print orders, proof prints, and all shipping will be held until next Monday and Tuesday.
Have a happy and meaningful Thanksgiving holiday with your families!

Award winning and world renowned photographer, Neil Cowley, turns 29 today. Despite this ascent to the peak of a rapidly declining summit, he has yet to adopt the motto “Over The Hill.”
With a cane in one hand and his new birthday present in the other (which for some odd reason, he only needs this new present when I am speaking) he approaches this next stage in life with vigor in his ginger steps. Here is a photo of what Neil gets for his birthday:

If you hear from him today, remind him to take some time off work!
I love you hun, can’t wait to eat your chocolate raspberry cake!!!
