A fashion bridal shoot on the dark side
Posted on Sep 16th 2008 by Neil.
I shot this fashion bridal project in time for the fall publishing cycle. Which bridal magazine will go a little dark this fall?
The Tyrian Purple veil and toning I used in these shots really drives home the classy regal aire to the photos. But there’s a little gothic undertone as well don’t you think? Â
I think they should do something daring and non-stereotypical don’t you?

I personally think its time that the concept steps out of the box entirely. It’s all about the personality of the couple and the photography should capture that. Beyond that, why not go a little “darker”? to touch classic sensuality. White or pink or lavender don’t conjure thoughts of love. It’s the wines, reds and shadowed night eyes. I dare them to publish it and give people the inspiration to think out of the box, and into their own soul’s expression.
