Cara & Tim – Geneva NY – heart’s content.

Well this is where we started….

Cara was surprised with my knowledge of beauty tips, but I think this one is all her creation: wine with a straw, so you don’t loose your lipstick.

Cara had the Towers suite, and I enjoyed the lighting.

Cara’s mom was so excited with the whole thing, she just didn’t know what to do.

As you can see, My wife is a really good portrait photographer.

And you know, when you stick guys in a room and tell them to wait its only natural that their paternal instincts come out. (Sorry Tim, that’s the best I could make it sound – everyone know’s you’re goofing off.)

Cara & Tim shared a charming ceremony.

And then excitedly left for the party!

There was just so much joy around them that the whole world caved in – or I was using a fisheye – I can’t remember.

Cara’s job description is ‘Personal Concierge’ so the details were tremendous today.

So good I bet even Carmen was impressed!

They’re so sweet together – lets give a collecive Awwwwww, just like all their guests.

Ok, I know all you brides-to-be are reading this, so take note – messages make for interesting pictures.

Oh boy – can’t stop the parents from jammin! Rick D from the Music Masters was an excellent MC, and had them jumpin on the dance floor.

We even had a birthday party in the middle of it.

Then we took Cara & Tim aside for some portraits at the end of the night. Cara said it was her favorite part of the day – and you can read her reflections on her Knot Bio. I’ve been getting a lot of visitors from her excited sharing of the photos too – so leave your comments!

I saw the wedding party being photographed and asked my engagement couple if they wanted to get a little closer so I could see if I knew the photographer. I was delighted to see it was you and Liesl. I saw how focused the two of you were so I didn’t want to interrupt. I shouted hello at one point when you were changing locations and Liesl shot a big hello back but I don’t think you heard me. I was racing against a setting sun so I had to move on.
The images look great, as always. I especially like the tag team photos on the staircase, Sa-weetness! You get the low view through the doors, and Liesl gets the high vantage point. Awesome to have them back to back like you do on the page too. I, like you am always turned on by light and how it works. It is a treat to see these images back to back and look at the lighting differences, color temperatures, and how both of you choose your compositions. It must have been fun to walk away together looking at each other’s images and seeing how both of you made lightening strike twice at the same time like that.
Powerful!
