Rob and Lauren enjoy Rochester
Posted on Jul 23rd 2006 by Neil.
Rob and Lauren married in the tent at the Crowne Plaza in downtown Rochester.

We shot group photos at the center at high falls, and liesl had Lauren and her sister all dramatic.

My wife also picked up some nice color in the first dance.

I was playing with depth of field using the canon 90mm TSE lens.

I was also using it at Mount Hope Cemetary.

These portraits were taken at the Mt. Hope Cemetery in Rochester NY.

To say I loved the work would not be a strong enough term I think… If you were to add a touch of “really impressed” a dash of “holy shit” and a sprinkling of “pure envy”, I think you have something along the lines I feel when viewing these photos.
To Neil and Liesl; your work and your style is sui generis, with a truly dramatic presence all it’s own, as unique and enduring as the people you capture. Thank you for not just taking photos of friends, but capturing the true spirits of the people i love. I applaud you both!
