Longtime faithful blog readers & site watchers may remember the wedding of Carrie & Eric – October 23, 2004 – Geneva Presbyterian Church and Belhurst Castle Seneca Lake, NY. Well what a difference two years makes! Carrie gave me a call a few weeks ago asking me to photograph their son’s first birthday party, and I said ‘what fun that will be’.

And it was heartwarming on such a cold day!

As is often the case on our first time through, when we’re in need of a nap – small bright lights mesmerize us. Carrie is laughing as Zack isn’t quite sure what to do with the candle.

After the party activities were finished a setup a quick studio and did a couple portraits to finish up the afternoon.

It was really fun seeing this family grow and develop, I’m glad to have contributed to documenting it.
